Chemotherapy affects everyone differently. However, there are certain factors that can put you at higher risk of CINV CINV – chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.

They include:

  • Being a woman
  • Being younger than age 50
  • A history of nausea and vomiting (during or after past
    cancer treatments)
  • The type and amount of chemotherapy (certain chemotherapies or combinations are more likely to cause nausea and vomiting than others)
  • A history of motion sickness, morning sickness, or both
